Remembering the Friends TV Show
Sunday, July 25th, 2010The Friends TV Show featured 6 key cast members all the way through its run. It also had many characters returning all through the 10 seasons. However, before playing their roles on this TV show, the major cast members had already become familiar to most television viewers.
But their earlier appearances didn’t earn them enough recognition to become stars. For the duration of the 10 season run, the entire pack of those actors became household names. Jennifer Aniston portrayed Rachel Green. She’s a devoted fashion enthusiast. She’s also seen as the best friend of Monica Geller from her high school.
Throughout the romantic-comedy series, beautiful Rachel and handsome Ross Geller keep on engaging and disengaging themselves in a hilarious romantic relationship. The very first job of Rachel was of a waitress. She worked at the nearby coffee house around Central Perk. But this charming lady eventually turned into the assistant buyer and eventually a buyer till season 5.
Lisa Kudrow on the other hand plays Phoebe Buffay. This is the most eccentric character in the serial who happens to be masseuse as well as a musician. Phoebe turned homeless when she was just 14. She is also known for her ditzy yet smart looks.
Matt LeBlanc plays Joey Tribbiani. This guy is a stressed out actor and true lover of women. Matt first drew viewers’ attention with his performance in Days of our Lives, where he performed as Drake Ramoray.
But in friends, this Joey looks like a pure womanizer who is literally bathing in women/girlfriends all through the series. However, he also develops a heavy crush on Rachel in the 8th season.
Matthew Perry plays the role of Chandler Bing. His character is a veteran executive specialized in pure statistical analysis or data reconfiguration. He works for a pretty large multi-national company. He gives his job up and turns into a simply junior copywriter who works for a typical ad agency in the season 9.
The main attraction of this character was sheer sense of humor. Many viewers are unaware of the fact that both Aniston and Perry had been experiencing several flop sitcom pilots prior to getting their roles on Friends.
Jennifer Aniston plays the beautiful girl next door character, Rachel Green. This character is a true fashion enthusiast. She’s also the best friend of Monica Geller right from her high school days. What kept viewers entertained is the romantic interplay between Rachel and handsome Ross Geller as was said earlier.
Courteney Cox Arquette plays the role as Monica Geller. She is like the mother hen among the entire gang. She is obsessive-compulsive as well as competitive in nature. She has to face occasional mockery or teasing due to the fact that she was a fat baby in her childhood.
And finally David Schwimmer plays the handsome and “brainy” Ross Geller – who happens to be a paleontologist who works for a museum. His work focused on Prehistoric animal studies and often made him seem like more of a nerdish character than he actually was. Later on Friends he becomes a professor specializing in paleontology. Ross may have been a success in his career but he was often lacking in his love life with 3 failed marriages in a row.
Despite the ending of this series… people keep on remembering it with love and nostalgia.
Confessions of a Fashion Enthusiast

Having friends that are so fond with the latest fashion and style, I, myself is so pressured with what are these ladies are doing. Basically before, I just preferred to stay at home than to be with them on social gatherings, going to beach, having a shopping but I can’t blame them as well because we’re on the stage of being outgoing and fun. This is the period were we enjoy our being as a teen.
I acclaimed that I really do have the looks but the problem is I dont have the idea on how to enhance myself and look better. I typically wear jeans and shirts then paired with flat sandals or sneakers. That’s the usual me. And I can say that was I before.
That was Sunday afternoon and we stayed at one of the houses of my friends. I was then reading a fashion magazine, and Samantha, one of my friends approach me and asked,” What are you doing?. And I confessed that I was looking for the latest fashion and style that i can mimic with . She laughed and said that what I did is already out of the trend. And she gave me suggestions on how to be hook with the latest, how to have getup’s just like a celebrity and what are the things that I am needing just to be in this so called ” Fashion Village.”.
And the main thing that she suggested to me is just to be with Haden Reid Boutique. An online shopping center that features latest dresses, accessories, denims, jewelries, tops and a lot more. And I directly ask her if where it’s location so that I can go directly. She laughed again to me and said, you can have it at the comforts of your home. During my first time that I logged on to www.hadenreidboutique.com. I was really amazed. They do have pics of famous celebrities wearing great apparels. They also have great designers with pictures of their creations. And whats the best thing happened to me when I logged on to that site was they had an on going sale with very low low prices so I really purchased a lot. But my favorite items that i bought was a flamingo skirt by Nightcup Clothing and a JJ Winters Suede Multi Zipper Bag where i saw Vanessa Hudgens was also using. There sandals were also good. It is so fashionable particularly on their wedge sandals.
I am really thankful to Haden Reid Boutique for transforming me into a fashion enthusiast. I am now very confident to be with my friends anytime, anywhere.
If you are encountering what I experienced before all I can suggest is just be with Haden Reid Boutique and feel the transformation.

They come in two main types:
• Individual strands;
• Wefts.
These two types of hair extensions differ by the way they are attached to your hair and the quality of the hair itself.
Individual strands are applied in small sections by weaving, heat fusing, gluing, or clamping with metal rods. Such method of hair extension includes applying to your own hair various chemical or foreign substances or objects. Of course, as every method this one also has its own advantages and disadvantages.
The main advantages of such method are:
• Long hair;
• Ability to make any hairstyle;

The greatest disadvantages of individual strands are:
• Application of foreign chemical or metal substances or objects to your hair;

• Inability to use certain hair care products in order not to damage extensions or your own hair.
Generally, method of individual strands extensions is not popular among celebrities because of the risk of hair damage. When you need to have one hundred per cent beautiful look all the time, you cannot allow yourself to risk losing one of your most important beauty signs.
On the other hand, wefts represent the little curtain of hair attached together at the top and freely flowing at the bottom. Wefts come in two types:
• Hand made;
• Machine made.
Wefts are much more expensive, but they almost completely eliminate any risk of hair damage. Both hand made and machine made wefts are of natural human hair only. There are four main types of human hair used in hair extension:
• Asian hair. This type of hair is very straight and dark. You may use it if you are Asian yourself or if you can’t afford using more expensive extensions.
• European quality hair. Such hair is collected in India and Pakistan. It is usually of dark colors and is not chemically treated. But due to darkness this hair is difficult to dye and it is not suitable for blonds and redheaded people.
• European hair. This hair is gathered in Italy and Spain. It may be wavy and is usually of dark shades. Such extensions last up to a year.
• Raw/Virgin hair. It is the best quality hair possible. It is very expensive and you can be absolutely sure that it is not chemically treated. If you buy blond hair, it has grown on the blond head.
To apply weft to your hair the stylist braids a horizontal track (very small plait) to which he/she attaches the weft. Such types of applying the hair extension allow you to keep your own hair undamaged by chemicals and keep the same extension for several years. All you need to do is to come to the salon once in 6-8 weeks and reapply the extension.
Among celebrities wefts of raw hair are the most popular because they can be dyed in any color and there is no risk that such extensions will fall out or became thinner. This is the best way to add length to your Sedu hairstyle and let your own hair grow healthy.

Celebrity Oops
Tuesday, June 22nd, 2010Over the years, celebrities have entertained us with much more than just their singing an acting talents; from fashion foibles that have us incredulously exclaiming “what was [he/she] thinking wearing THAT?” to senseless ramblings that have left us rolling our eyes, celebs in the hot-spot have always been good for a mindless distraction.
Looking back through the Hollywood ages, there are so many celebrity “oops” we could point to.

The men are of course in no way untouchable.
There are the many love interests and rehabilitations of Sheen and company. (How many heavy Hollywood hitters were listed in Heidi Fleiss famed black book?) Yes, Hollywood is a haven for divorce lawyers and substance abuse programs.
The previously pristine Tom Cruise is always good for an oops whether Tom Katting around, or mixing it up with Brooke.
Dads like Jon Voight spill the beans about their daughters’ mood swings, and oh how we love to follow the aftermath.
Gary Coleman has been disorderly, while Kevin Federline celebrates his recent divorce. Brad Pitt has broken Commandments and left Jen reeling while he sets up his new house. And from Ben Affleck to Matthew Mc Conaughey, the guys have had their ‘coverage’ problems, too.
Much to our collective average pleasure, the cameras (and the internet) are never far away from the stars, and we catch every gaff, foible, oops, lapse in style, and misplaced word. It may not be much, but its the best reminder we have that after all, humans are humans, and celebrities are no exception to that rule.
As long as we have celebrities, we’ll have celebrity oops to entertain us after the glow of the limelight fades. It’s a security we can all hold firm to as we chuckle at the misfortunes of the most fortunate.
